The Maserhid Festival in Old Acre began in 2001 as a festival for one-man plays in the Arabic language for Palestinian artists. This is the only festival that has survived over the years, in all situations, including times of tension and crisis, and the only one that provides a response to artists and their audience. Therefore, in order to fulfill the festival’s vision, in recent years the festival’s management has decided to include multi-participant performances as well.
Even this year, despite the corona virus, the festival will take place, and will be broadcast live via Facebook.
